As a child who moved up and down the East Coast throughout much of his earlier life, one thing has remained consistent in Kyle Rayner’s life: his passion for music. He was classically trained in music as a child and took this knowledge to begin creating his own sound in high school, when he produced his first piece of electronic music. Now having planted his roots in the place he truly calls home–NYC–he is taking his knack for great sounds, seamless production style and effortless mixing to truly begin his career in the music industry.

While in Massachusetts, Kyle founded and directed the UMASS EDMC, an electronic music group that took both houses and night clubs by storm and threw some of the biggest parties the college scene has ever seen. Just before leaving the Northeast, Kyle was chosen as the winner of the 2009 New England DJ competition and had his set played on KISS 95.7, one of the most popular radio stations in New England.

Kyle currently writes for Ean Golden’s wildly popular digital DJ resource, djtechtools.com where he reviews and discusses the latest digital DJ technology. He is currently a student at SAE in New York City where he is finishing up his degree in Audio Engineering. In his free time, when he isn’t at home watching the Food Network, Kyle is tirelessly scouring the city for what he considers to be NY’s best burger.
